VSCM Collaboration IV: Conclusion (At Last!)

....Everything is slowly coming to an end....
...Some things, it seems, couldn't come quick enough though...

And I don't mean that as in this group project has been terrible... its just been... taxing...
Our group and its members certainly have been great (and an easy joy to work with), and our concept and branding came together quite smoothly. Despite some bumps along the way, our components got modeled, printed, and assembled quite nicely.

Its just been.. a looong, slightly time consuming project...
Though the results were quite worth it...

...Maybe not the physical results of the modeling, but the results of the experience of working together with a group of designers and creators to generate a concept and bring it to life.

Anyways.... this is what we've made:

(PistachiGo- for all your pistachio eating problems... on the go)

It took us a few days to get all the pieces printed, since little issues with the model kept popping up here and there, but eventually, everything got printed!

(Our lovely blue pistachio)

.... I must admit.. there were some complete oversights that somehow totally slipped past us and we didn't notice until we were assembling the darn thing...

Like it does not close that well due to slight... drippages of material in between where the top and middle sections fit together (it had a bit of an unsupported overhang that was overlooked)

Or that the hinge doesn't fit completely snugly with the body

....Or that the hinge is totally in the wrong spot and should be holding the top and middle sections together, not the bottom and the middle (really don't know how I missed this one... its almost embarrassing... serious whoops)

(The functionality is a bit... wonky with the hinge placed in the wrong spot)

(Some quick photos of the store-bought parts we used)

But... despite all those oversights, the results still look pretty good... and it... works?
